Hi Folks, I just registered. I am an old guy who has just recently returned to biking after a long time. I currently only have a Lemond Road Bike but the city of Rockwall just opened some off road bike trails just a few miles from my house, so I am going to buy a MB and give that a try as well. My motivation for all this is simply to get in better physical condition. I am almost 65, so there ain't any big air rides in my future, just serious XC conditioning rides.
I know very little about bikes, so you guys are going to be a big help.

Thanks,

Wayne

Hi Wayne,
Nice to have you.

I started road riding at age 65.
Go slow and have fun.

Howdy and welcome to the forums.

I've ridden with a bike-shop ride here in Garland (Saturday, 20 miles, non-drop), with Greater Dallas Bicyclists (various lengths and speeds of rides) and with Lone Star Randonneurs (normally 200k and up rides). If any of those sound interesting, check 'em out or contact me for more info.
