Recumbent - Recumbent on Rollers?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Do any of you have any experience riding your recumbents on rollers? I'm not talking about the mini rollers such as these; http://www.hoenig.biz/100_bikes/images/Complete1.jpg but rather the regular type that you have to balance on.
Thanks

I've seen pics of people on rollers. A recent one I saw was a guy riding a hi-racer. I want to give it a try, but my rollers aren't long enough for either my Aero or my Team.
but my rollers aren't long enough
That's what I just discovered myself. :(

I could ride my DF bikes on rollers, no problems at all. Even did a century on rollers once...talk about boring! But every time I tried with a bent I would fall of the side of the rollers, had to replace the floor from all the skid marks. After a bit of pratice I could ride a LWB for a short time, but could never get the hang of ridding the SWB on rollers.
Never tried riding mine on rollers. But I have heard people who have find it next to impossible. I think there is a way though. I think the only way to ride a recumbent on rollers is use the style where you trap the front fork. Like what is shown in the link. Provided of course the wheel base is not to long.

No problem. I'm lucky the wheelbase on my corsa is 46" and it fits on my rollers (kreitler polymyte). Took a while to feel confident balance-wise, but has really helped smooth out my cadence and balance on the road.

I've got a SWB bent and it fits my rollers well. With a little practice, it's no problem to ride on rollers.

My 20+ year old Kreitlers max out at 44.5" and my Team is 46" and my Aero is 47.5". Kreitler does have an extension kit which I'll probably buy. As a long-time fan of rollers with my DFs, I have to try it with my bents. :)
