We want to use the Bob Yak with our 2004 Cannondale Road Tandem, a combination we never used before. I'll have to buy a new QR for this and I'm wondering if the 145 mm. version will fit our tandem. The dropouts are very beefy so perhaps the 160 mm. version would be the better option.
I'd appreciate anybody's experience with this type of tandem in combination with a Bob Yak.
According to the paper that came with my 145 QR the allowable dropout outside dimension is 145mm to 164mm for the 145 QR and 165mm to 180mm for the 160 QR. If you don’t have a way to measure it let me know. I won’t have access to my Cannondale until late Sunday. After that I could measure it and try my QR.

Thanks a lot, I'll measure our tandem's outside dimension tomorrow morning!
UPDATE Just measured: the dropouts are some 9 mm thick, together with the OLN this should result in 163 mm ...... I guess I'll drop the Bob-Boys a line :-)
