Hey everyone, I don't really know what to say here so I guess I'll just start rambling...
A little about myself, I am 6' 3" coming in around 185/190 lbs (need to shed a few pounds). I am really big into sports and video games and am willing to try anything at least once, twice if it feels good.
I am currently living in Belgium courtesy of the United States Air Force. I am stationed here for at least 2 years, we'll see where this assignment takes me or if I decide to stay put. Biking is huge here in Belgium and really helped me make that push to purchase my first road bike.
I have always wanted to get into biking and I jumped in, well, nose dived head first into making my first bike purchase. I have rode with my uncle back in California and loved the short 12 mile ride we did on his road bike. I shopped around locally (there are a lot of bike shops in Belgium) and wound up buying a really nice bike off a coworker who is even bigger into biking.
I purchased a 2011 Ridley Orion Ultegra (red/black/white) and on the bike are some nice Mavic Cosmic wheels wrapped by some Hutchison Atom tires. I have since made a lot of purchases online to add to my biking accessories and am looking forward to what the forums have to offer.
