Any thoughts on this bike?

It's a Miele 22". (I believe Miele is a Canadian Brand.) The Components follow:

Rear Derailleur - Shimano Light Action
Front Derailleur - Shimano
Shifters - Shimano Light Action
Brake Calipers - Miele
Brake Levers - Exage Action
Rims - Ambrosia
Frame - Ishiwata Cr-Mo Doulble Butted Tubing, Forks and Stays
Crank - Sugino

I'm 5 10 and am looking for something fast and good for the city.

Any input would be much appreciated!

I do believe I'm out of touch but, like the above Lemond the chances I'd pay that for that are slim to none

The bike is the right size for you, but the price is too steep in my opinion. I just paid a little less than half that for a Miele Latina with 14 speed Campy Athena group and the condition is fantastic. I don't know about the Condor, but it seems it must have been a lower-end than the Latina due to the Shimano Light Action group.

I'm thinking it is worth maybe $150.00 at best. Of course it may be worth more in your area. Where are you located?

Where are you located?

I'm in Toronto. It's definitely a sellers market. But if you think the price for this is outrageous, perhaps I should keep looking.

Where are you located? From what I gather these bikes are rare outside of Ontario.

Miele's were built in Toronto by Jim Miele, they certainly have a following in your area. They're excellent frames, very well built and crafted.

For where you are I don't think the price is outrageous, just a tad high.

Thanks for the response. I found another. It's black and Yellow. But the owner says that there's a ding on the left side that's his mechanic straightened out. Is that code language for the bike is a complete wright off?

I also found this red Bianchi. It's quite nice. It's $325

And another Mielle. It's $350 and looks to be in a bit better shape than the original I posted.

The one I purchased was in Kansas City, MO. The fellow was asking $200.00 and I offered $150.00. It has Campy Athena 7 speed group, hubs and all. Seatpost is aero, nice!

The only components non-Campy are the stem, Cinelli and the bars, Ambrosio that have internal cable routing.

I will eventually have the bike repainted. Possibly powdercoated. It is a sweet bike for sure.

Given the location you are in, they all seem to be fairly close to market price. Like you said, seller's market.

Funny, I saw the same Ad (I'm in Burlington) for that bike, started Googling to see if it was a decent price for the bike, but if it's a perfect fit for you at 5'10, I guess it's not a good choice for me at 6' :\

P.S. ... it's now $300 from $325 lol
