Clydesdales/Athenas (200+ lb / 91+ kg) - Now this is a jersey !!

I've been wanting to get a jersey that I would really like. But $70-$80 for something that isn't really that appealing to me is senseless. I wear yellow alot cause it matches my bike and most forum members, camera/video buddies, spot me on the trail by my yellow jersey.

So I have completed this ride in the past so I have earned the rights to buy the jersey but never have since it changes colors every year. The year I did it, it was green. Then red the next year and I never have liked the colors.

But this year, the color is yellow with carbon fiber grey trim. The year isn't posted on the jersey so that a rider can buy it at anytime as long as he has completed the ride in the past. I'm in business baby! Finally a jersey that I like and means something!:D

This ride was the same as the ride you did Saturday. I'm surprised you didn't do this one. About the same elevation etc.

I've got the Cat in the Hat and the Green Eggs and Ham jerseys, and get quite a few comments on them. And I just recently got "The Masher" jersey, and first time I rode up to the club ride with it, one of the ladies says, "What a cool jersey that is!" So far, so good with the $80 jerseys.

Well, I wore orange on organized rides and GMR for visbility. But the trail rides are yellow.:D

I should. Only thing htat worries me is that the XXl in htis brand may be a bit too snug. If so, I'll have Gina model it, it'll look better on her anyways!:D

There ar some nice jerseys. I like the all yellow with a blue happy face. But $80? Pretty much the same as my yellow $19 Performance jersey but with a blue line as a mouth and two dots for the eyes.:)

I only buy jerseys when they are on sale. $80 is pretty steep so I keep an eye out for 50% and better sales. Ok, mostly they happen in November but April happens eventually.

Or you could do like I did and raise Tour de Cure money to get one. I'm over the minimum needed to qualify for theirs, and I'm pretty excited about getting it. Not quite the same badge of honor, but better than buying one for myself.

I have two Bike MS City to Shore jerseys. They are my favorite for the reason you state.
