Bicycle Mechanics - Klein BB Bearing Replacement

The bottom bracket in my Klein Quantum, circa 1990, is beginning to growl when under stress. As a result I'm looking to replace the pressed-in bearings. The bearings, SB-6003, are readily sourced, but Trek (owner of the Klein company from 1995) doesn't have the proper tools available.

Does anyone here have the Klein removal/assembly tools that they'd be willing to sell or rent?

Bearings are commonly pressed out by machine shops with an Arbor press

arbor in this case is a steel arch of channel iron to mount, say a jack
to press out the whole assembly from the BB shell.
not a Klein specific tool, a common machine shop practice..

There was a previous thread on this just a month, or so back. so, do a search.

Thanks, search was successful. There is, however, a Klein specific tool set, and since I don't have ready access to a machine shop, acquiring the tool set, either by buying, renting or borrowing it, I would be able to do the work myself.

I wanted to replace the spindle so I could go to a triple crankset on my 1983 Klein Performance. I couldn't find a set of tools, either. I ended up buying a bunch of washers and used sockets for spacers along with the best bolt I could find that fit the spindle. I managed to pull the bearings and press the new spindle and bearings in. The tool set would have been nice.

I used Phil Wood bearings. They are smooth.

A simple press can be a steel tube just a bit bigger than the OD of the bearing,
to sit against the frame shell . then fender washers [wide with a small hole]..
you may find thick ones for concrete work to span the end.
and a long metric bolt to pull on the end of the axle, against the washer ,
