I've got my eye on some chain guards on French ebay but I do not speak french and I have no idea what I'm doing. Haha any suggestions or is it a huge hassle?

Or better, anyone squirreling away a french wing shape chain guard? ;)

how did you get to "French Ebay"? I have dealt with French sellers through US ebay. did you try copying the item number to US ebay?

just try typing a mesage and ask if they speak english

perhaps you should have paid attention during French class

I simply went to ebay.fr
I'd have to make a new account there to communicate with sellers I think. It's daunting to me. I don't think my limited highschool french class would have prepared me for negotiating international shipping haha.

I've made more than several eBay purchases from France. Shipping (l'expédition) is trés cher, worse than the UK, maybe not as bad as Italy. As far as communication goes, mon Français n'est pas mal, but I still use Babel Fish (http://babelfish.yahoo.com/?fr=avbbf-us) (both incoming and outgoing) so that I don't make an ass of myself (as many sellers don't seem to mind if they do, in Franglais).

I speak a little french, why dont you pm me a link to the item and your address. Ill ask them if they offer shipping to the US and how much to your address.

Ive used eBay Germany and other euro eBays and ive never had to make a new account to contact them I just have to be using thier eBay when I sign in. Be it .fr or .be or .de or whatever.
