I have a 2002 Bianchi EV4 frame and have tried to find out if the bottom bracket is english or italian threaded. Everything points me to english except the fact that the frame is Italian made. Thanks

It's english.Even Italian Bianchis have been so for a number of years.

Italian is right hand thread both sides, wheras English has a left hand thread for the fixed cup. (Chainwheel side.) and a right hand thread on the adjustable side.

English is 1 3/8 inch dia. Italian is slight bigger at 36mm. So it is possible if you have a stripped thread English B.B. to salvage the frame by tapping it out Italian and changing the cups.
