Classic and Vintage Bicycles: What's it Worth? Appraisals and Inquiries - Western Flyer?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I just aquired this beauty. Can you tell me anything about it. One of the tires say Western Flyer.

Western Flyers were sold at Western Auto stores. Man, yours looks nice! Mine's been brush painted with (probably lead) housepaint. Looks really close in vintage to mine. I've never nailed down a year for mine, though. My wild guess is late 50s early 60s.
I still have a tank on mine but the rest of mine is more trashed. Is that a tank tab I see on the back of your headtube?
I am at work so I can't go out a take a picture of the tab. But I will later and post. So your western flyer looks like this? So it is fairly conclusive that is what it is?

Several companies made bikes for the Western Flyer line. They even sold English 3-speeds from Raleigh. This one looks American though. Was it spray painted? If so, at least they did a good job.
