I have 990's on my Trek and Evolvers on my Ares and I must say that they are both pretty equal as far as braking quality go's. They both act about the same and can easily be feathered, but I like the Evolvers a lot better for the fact that there are tons of setup possibilities to get them to work exactly how you want them too and setting them up and keeping them maintaned is a lot easier., plus they come with differnt tension springs for easy, slow braking or hard, quik braking. Well...thats all I have to say about that. :D
