I can't find information about the original retail price on it. I'm guessing about $300 in '85?

Thanks for your opinions....

Original price does not matter. Some bikes that originally sold for a lot, like vintage MTBs, now sell for very little. And other bikes that did not sell for much, like vintage mixtes, bring good money. It's all about condition and your market.

I never pass up a mixte at a low price, even bottom end ones.

I agree about new price not being much of a factor today. If the tires matched it would be more appealing. It probably sold for $260 to 280 back then.

Good $200 bike in that condition, depending on your market.

I have sold a couple of Mixtes here in SoCal. The hipsters need a bike for their girlfriend since they can't persuade them to ride fixed and that style bike fits the bill.
Perhaps up to $250 in my neck of the woods with great photos and ad to go with it. The shifters on the bars could make it easier than DT's for girls and light blue is pretty.
