Thinking of getting one in a 64 with a triple in the H-2 fit. Before I waste time calling every Trek shop in town I want to know if it is a good bike. I would be using it for sport/performance but not racing. Mostly long rides on the bike paths or on road for charity events.

Somewhat similar, but not exact. I shopped around for a while getting my first road bike. I am just shy of 6'4". I ended up with a trek 1.5 which comes in the h2 fit. Honestly I could tell little difference in the frame design of the 2.1 and 1.5 other than the 2.1 looking a little cleaner in design. I tired the 62 cm and the 60 cm. The 60 seemed to be a little better fit for me. As far as the h2 - I love it, I feel relaxed on it and comfortable, and feel like I can hammer down and get a good speed up if I need. Honestly the H2 is the only fit I tried from trek, but it fits a taller guy pretty good.
