Metric, but century none the less. We had this planned out for the last couple weeks but at that point I knew I'd be in shape for it. About 2 weeks ago I had some surprise medical issues that took me off the bike for a couple weeks. Needless to say I was a little nervous.
It was a little windier than we had planned on and the direction sucked. We had a stiff headwind and crosswinds on all but a 10 mile stretch. We ended up at 65 miles in 4 hrs 45 mins. I'll take it, I was cussing the last 15 miles of the ride but felt great when it was all said and done. No doubt I'll be able to make it through the 3 tours I've been roped in to this summer now! ;)
It's an awesome feeling to finish 65 miles after my 5 mile initiation just 2 months ago.

Congrats on the accomplishment!
Do you remember what your average speed was during the ride?

We ended up at 14.4, it's a fairly hilly ride and we battled some winds so overall I was pretty happy with it.
