Fifty Plus (50+) - A "colorful" ride

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Went for a short ride on the Badger trail yesterday during which I saw a red fox, a group of gold finches, a cardinal, some red wing blackbirds and an indigo bunting. I should of gone a bit further and tried for a complete rainbow!:)

Stop there- The rainbow would have come with the April Showers--That are a bit late over here.
Apart from the red Fox- I would have loved to see the rest of your Fauna. Foxs get a bit too close for me with chickens in the garden.
Nice assortment of birds. Down here, I see Osprey, black vultures, red shouldered hawks, kingfishers, great egrets, cattle egrets, snowy egrets, great blue herons, cormorants, anhingas, pileated wood peckers, swallow tailed kites, sand hill cranes (who for some reason known best to themselves believe that they always have the right of way as the strut placidly across the road) and sometimes bald eagles.
So, if it's the Badger Trail, have you ever seen any badgers on it?

We are seeing (and hearing!) a lot of gold winged cicadas.

Just been out in the garden and listened to the blackbirds singing- They are so melodious I think I could almost do without all the others. Especially the Pigeons- Magpies- Crows and Seagulls that seem to be taking over.

Not on the trail, although I've seen them staring me down while they stood in the middle of the road. Actually quite intimidating!
