On the bolt it says torque is 450-550 Kgf cm. These are the aluminum cranks. Does someone know what this is in ft.lbs.? I greased mine:eek:, and it needs to be cleaned and loctited. Keeps comming loose.

1 Kgf/cm = .0723302 ft/lb so 450Kgf/cm = 32.5ft/lbs 550Kgf/cm = 39.8ft/lbs

How old are the cranks? Is the fixing bolt steel or aluminum? If aluminum it should be replaced with a steel one ASAP. Your local LBS can order it.
