Folding Bikes - Anyone own the newer A-bike city yet?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I know this is the subforum to go for the more "eccentric" types of bikes and just wondering has anyone bought the newer a-bike city? this is the official a-bike with 8 inch wheels instead of the tiny 6 inches. It should be quite a better ride now even for pootling along sidewalks and bicycle paths(no way I can take this on my pot hole filled roads in Toronto). Could anyone that bought one give a insight or review on it cause i'm very intrigued on super tiny folding bikes that work well. Locally I can pick one up for a pretty good price on the 8 inch wheeled version.

Costco is the Canadian version of Sam's Club.

Also i'm not interested in the super cheap clones for like $50-$100 because some company actually did some testing on it and found it to break easily on some certain places where old posters mentioned (front wheel snap on a simple hit).

Any abike clubs in Amsterdam with the new one care to give some thoughts because I know you guys have quite a bit of cobblestones on the side streets and a bike store I was at sold the abikes, it felt alot more solid in person than I thought it would be.
