We have a Giant Revive with less than 10 miles on it. It's been stored in the garage for a few years. We plan to sell it. Naturally after I check and make sure the mechanics are still good and the tires inflate.

But I have no idea what to ask for it and how to market it. New it was just over $900 and we got it because it was one of the few "regular" bikes my wife could ride. For those who have not seen the bike, it's a semi-recumbent style comfort bike but with more normal seating
than recumbents.

I've seen these bikes on craigs list for 300 to $500. What would you sell it for if it were yours and would you use craigs list or something else like ebay?

Craigslist is easier for selling bikes. No shipping charges. Plus no fees - Ebay costs money even if you don't sell the bike.

Great, I appreciate the link. It looks like 400-700 would be a good point. I agree that ebay is a hassle but didn't realize it costs for none sales.

I had a Revive LX that got me back into cycling in 2009. I didn't ride in much after I moved to road bikes but it was nice for a quick jaunt around the neighborhood and once in a while do some light shopping. A friend of mine talked me into selling it to him so his wife could get back into cycling. She can not put and prressure on her wrists so it is perfect for her. While I still miss that bike the look on her face made it worth it. I only got $400.00 for it but then I was selling to a friend.

Thanks Bob. Wife just wanted to get rid of it and thought 200 would be a quick sale. I'm thinking that's too low. It's a great bike for someone who is somewhat physically impaired but would love biking and easy shifting. It's too slow for me, but I thought it would be great cruiser for her.
