Mine is falling off, any suggestions? I'm thinking maybe brown. If you know any sites to get good deals on tape that would be appreciated.

My favorite tape is the Fizik brand tape. It has the best grip and comfort of any I have ridden. Its not especially padded, but they also sell a gel underwrap if youre into that.

Cork tapes are usually pretty cheap. If a shop as Origin 8 it is even cheaper

I use Hockey tape
$3 a roll and I can replace it about 6-8 times
It's not soft, but cheap and you can get some nice colors. Just make sure you wear gloves. I've rewrapped my bars about four times and everytime it gets softer.
If you have any athletic wrapping or spongy wraps, you can warp that over before you apply the hockey tape, makes it ultra squishy, but be aware of the rain.
It's on sale too!

Make sure you go to a sporting goods store, look at the hockey tape but don't buy it, then go online and buy hockey stick tape for your bicycle handlebars.
I use cork tape.
i like cinelli cork the best. ive heard good things about fizik tape, but i prefer a little more cushion.

actaully shipping is like $10, so going to a store would be best. Just make sure they actually sell hockey equipment, because some places don't sell it.

I don't use tappered tape because you only need that for fixed gear bikes :P
But seriously, I use Bontrager gel tape. It doesn't have the sticky glue and feels so nice.

Lizard Skins is comfy but pricey.
I use Fizik Microtex bartape. I have it in white, but it doesn't get dirty and is extremely easy to clean if it is. They've been on my bike for a 3-4 months now.

I like Easton Velo foam tape a lot. Really stretchy so it goes on easy and fits really well. It's comfy and durable and $10 for 2 rolls.

Ill put in my vote for Sram Supercork. In red. Nice and thick without being too "chunky". I wears very well too. It would be the perfect tape if it didnt have the adhesive strip on the back.

Lizardskins!!! I'm still rocking the rolls that amazed me so much that I spread the word here nearly a year ago. :D
oh my god that bike. . .
your macchiato drinkin', cinelli mash ridin' ass doesn't have to comment on the bike man, he's asking for opinions on bar tape. ;)
fiziks, lizardskins, or cinelli gel is fine with me.

I use Bontrager gel tape with Bontrager gel padding underneath.. Its super comfy! I prefer nonadhesive. I also wear gel-padded Pearl Izumi cycling gloves for maximum comfort. Mmmm gel <3

being picky about bar tape is pretty much the last nail on the coffin for my interest in bf. at least for a couple days. -____-

Why? I'd say handlebars are a pretty vital contact point and having crappy bar tape sucks.
Fizik soft touch!
anyone?
I hate it.

Fix your saddle.
The dandy in me would suggested the most lurid, brightest cincelli tape you can get your hands on. There's just too much understated black on that bike, peacock it man, peacock it !!!
You missed a spot on your current wrap btw :)
Also, bit of an odd stem , bar and saddle set up , no ? Although it may suit you perfectly, it just looks a bit odd to my eyes, we dont have those Kilo thingys here.

I wasn't going to say anything, but...
I like Deda tape, but I wear gloves so it probably doesn't matter what I use.

Does anyone know of a bar tape that has a sort of suede/terry cloth texture to it? I always see it on tri-bikes at Performance. It isn't perforated and is usually white.

I found it a bit too thick and tacky for my liking.

Hmm, I'm running 82 inches. No wonder it's tough.
i use microtex mostly...the faux suede is nice. also excellent, and nice to look at, is that stitched stella azurra (eleganza)...lots of color choices.
