Touring - 1999 Trek 520 frame & fork value

There is one for sale locally in my size (58cm) that has never been ridden. This year (blue color) is not lugged, has 1" quill type headset. Includes headset and Trek rear rack from that era. Asking price is $235. I already have a current Nashbar touring frame/fork I built up last year, and am considering this frame instead. Is it worth it? Would I notice much difference in the ride? What would you do?

To me that seems a little steep for just the frame and fork. Probably about the max I think they could hope for short of Ebaying it and getting lucky by having a bidding war between some folks that might really want that particular bike, which is not likely given it is not lugged and I think it has a unicrown fork. That's not to say it isn't a very good bike, but lugs and nice fork crowns tend to bring the premium prices.

2fer, Unless there's a shipping box that it just hatched from included, the price is too high for all, but those who really want that frameset.

Thanks for the input. Even though I'm currently riding the aluminum Nashbar touring, I'm partial to the lugged frames as well, and will pass on it for now. I'll keep looking.
