I am new to tri, and have read wheel recommendations of 19mm front and 22mm rear for race day. Has anyone heard of a 19mm clincher? Google searches show a lot of TUFO tires, but only have 19mm in a tubular. Any suggestions?

the rolling resistance/wind resistance between 19 and 23 is not sigificant. The only thing that might suffer is the ride quality. If your really light it might not make much difference but if you over maybe 130 I would think that just getting 23's would be the best option as they have the biggest selection at that size.

Yes, the 19's are hard to find, but 20's are a little easier to find and that's what I ride. In fact, my training wheels are 20's as well. I haven't noticed any discomfort, but do traind with them at 100 psi rather than the recommended max of 120. However, it will take some time to get your confidence up to corner hard on these small tires. I still don't go all out yet like I did on my 23's. Scarrrrry!
