Great Lakes Rides and Events - Soldier Ride- Wounded Warrior Project

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

The Soldier Ride initiative provides adaptive cycling opportunities across the country to help wounded warriors restore their physical and emotional well-being. The community has a chance to participate in Soldier Ride as well, riding alongside these brave men and women in uniform. Soldier Ride is a unique, rehabilitative cycling experience that honors our military men and women as they courageously battle the physical and psychological damages of war. The ride will be coming to Chicago, IL on June 4, 2011. Registration begins at 6:30a.m. and the ride starts at Kaneland Senior High School at 8a.m. There is a registration fee and helmets are required. Visit http://soldierride.org for more information.
