Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - HELP: Origin 8 Stash Bar Brake Lever

I just bought a Origin 8 Stash bar not knowing that it was so fat, the diameter is 25.4 mm, does anyone know of any brake levers I could use? I've heard you can use cyclo cross in-line brakes with a shim? If so how do you make this "shim"? Thank you

No. They make cross levers with 3 different clamp diameters, as follows:

RL720 = 24.0mm for normal road bar
RL726 = 26.0mm for clamping area
RL721 = 31.8mm for clamping area

Anyway, if you get the RL726 levers with the 26.0mm clamp, the shim only has to be 0.3mm thick or about 12mils. So I think a few turns of electrical tape would work, given that there is no twisting of the lever on the bar when it is operated. You can buy metal shims, but they are super expensive and unnecessary IMO.

I used a 2" long piece of nylon backpack strapping. Hey it works, was easy to find, and free!

My LBS doesn't carry the RLs and they're not on Cane Creeks site,so i didn't even know about those.Mine are the Cane Creek cross top levers,available in 31.8 and 26.0 and the 26.0 are 24.Next time i need levers i'll go with the RLs:)

i used a dia tech gold finger lever. it's 25.4, no shims just braking pleasure
