Had either the flu or a case of food poisoning this week which helped me drop 10 pounds in the past two weeks. I could tell the difference riding yesterday and today. What a great way to lighten up the bike on a budget. Think I'll hit that nasty salad bar again tomorrow for lunch...:D

Odds are a lot of the weight loss was water so don't feel bad is some comes back on even if you are eating right. But it is still a jump start! Some years ago my sister ended up starting a diet because she got sick from a gallbladder attack. :)

Take care!

Hehehe. I had a similar round of weight loss after my surgery last fall, when I basically couldn't eat for almost a week from being so narc'd up on painkillers.
I can laugh about it now, but at the time it was more of a nervous chuckle when I stepped on the scale and thought "geez, at this rate I can reach my goal in about 5 weeks... if I manage not to die!"
