ok, i know this is a long shot but...... my brothers fixie was stolen last night. it could show up anywhere around here. it's a mid 80's schwinn world frame. it's red and white, has dings and holes from a sloppy braize-on removal job. it's rollin' on a black VDS track hub set. also has really uncomfortable looking white plastic bmx seat.

on the off chance anyone runs into it please post on here or message me or both.

thanks for any help.

Check southtizzle, stupid hopheads probably thought it was a BMX. I mean, they are that thick. I don't suppose you have the serial numbers. ? Make the ****ing pigs work for a living, (long shot too). That really sucks and I am calling the Samoans on my payroll to roust some heads. And here I had a new Haiku mocking cheese, but its inappropriate now, so they took that too.

i'm talking about the guys who stole the bike, not bottom-bracket. when i was in college (at u of o), a friend and i locked our bikes together at a party. when we came out they were gone, so we split up to look. i found 4 or 5 guys jumping up and down on top of the bikes. hence, the drunken frat boy comment. again, good luck finding it.

thats what im counting on, but should i let her be captain? I would get to stare at her butt, but what will passersby think of me being the stoker?
hypathetically.......of course

there used to be this guy in eugene who drove around an old green school bus literally covered with hundreds of bikes for sale. i always wondered where he got his bikes. might be worth a look.

That sounds a lot like my red Schwinn, but mine has no white and the wheel is still good. Made me a little nervous when I first read it tho. I put mine together in Septembe. I got the frame from a reputable shop in town and built it up from parts I had and what ever cheap parts I could find. Here's a pic for you.
