The Scotland Neck, NC 9th annual Country Roads Bike Tour was yesterday. We had great weather and as usual the organizers did a great job. Meals were good with an excellent route with beautiful country scenery through the NE North Carolina agricultural area. Vehicles are alomost non-existent. The ride offered 25k, 50k, and 100k routes. Great job guys.

What an awesome ride yesterday. I was able to hang with the Roanoke boys for an hour. An hour at a 23.5mph average! More than I could handle on my lack of riding legs at this time and I skipped the last loop, ended up with 49mi/2:29hr. Will be ready for this ride next year!!
