That's the hub locknut. Your lbs should have one.

couldnt tell you what it is but just bring the pieces into any half decent bike shop and theyll help you out. sometimes for some of those nuts and bolts, they will just hand you one for free if its out of a used parts bin

Go to your local family owned bike store. They'll most likely hook you up for free if they get it from a parts bin as said above or for a dollar or 2.

I remember one of these places when I was still going to ucb! :D
Try going to the local co-op or bike shop. I actually couldn't find a match in the parts bin at the co-op at first but later a shop hooked one up for free. Kind of bugs me that it's not a perfect match still but it works.

yeah, mikesbikes is somewhat of a chain store. there's like 5 other bike stores around the university ave area anyways that i would go to for a small part like that, if i lived in berkeley that is.
^ they are the ones with that small used bike shop that sells on consignment off university and shattuck?

missing link was my favorite; well what it was back then; I went there and it's kind of lost its co - op feel in my opinion...

I think Missing Link is still the best of them, although it doesn't feel terribly co-op now.
