Anybody have one of these: http://www.rawlandcycles.com/store/index.php?strWebAction=item_detail&intItemID=3878? The Rawland site even says, "Choose your own adventure...Ride Rawland."

only sizes for the wee folks.. like Salsa and Surly
they are jobbed out to one or another ROC export factory.

Have you considered just hiring a custom built frameset?
then the only A vs B conflict will be in your head
as you define the features you want.

The Drakkar looks like a great frame at a nice price. Be aware there is a low trail fork option if you are into that. I'd get a Drakkar with a low trail fork for sure.

I think they only have small frame sizes because they already ran out of the larger sizes, and are in the process of designing a new generation of frames.
