Just realized I haven't seen a post from the Historian for a couple of weeks.

I like you humble honesty and "I can do it" attitude.

If you're in the dumps, talk about it. You're not alone. I started a 2 week tour May 7 and was back home May 13 because the weather was awful. Then the weather was great May 14 to 20 but I just sat on my can all week.

You're a role model! don't disappear.

First, he asked for a name change to Neil_B, so ya know. He's still around.

Laying low now. I think everyone was getting tired of The Historian's relentless boosterism and I found being 'him' very fatiguing. Also, my riding is limited now by my physical therapy and anticipated knee surgery, so I don't have much to contribute.

I need relentless boosterism.

Thank you. As I wrote, appearing here as The Historian I felt I had a reputation to live up to and an obligation to motivate people. I don't any longer.
