..the last few days because I've been on 'Baby Watch' since last Friday. The watch is over and now I've a couple of days babysitting this young guy's 14 mo. old sister.

Awwwwwwwwww! CONGRATULATIONS! He is adorable! Nothing in this world smells better than a newborn baby! Enjoy him!
Congrats on the new grandson! Just got through 3 days of watching our 16 mo. grandson while his sister was being born. He and I are attached at the hip, but those were his first overnighters at Grandma and Grandpa's house. We were just saying how much we missed him, but didn't miss doing the stair repeats with him.
Today we had "The Meeting". His sister learned why her mom hadn't been home. It went very well, although she doesn't really understand. :)

Can remember the first meeting of Ferne and her new baby brother. She was not impressed. Ferne is now 27 months and Oakley is 8 months. They are great together and beginning to gang up on Mum. I don't know how they do it but they communicate together to get up to all sorts of mischief so warn Mum.
And no need to congragulate you- we can sense how happy you are- but just a warning- Start saving for Joshuas 1st bike. Boys don't take kindly to being handed down the sisters "PINK" bike.
Terex, My grand daughter's paternal grandmother has taken over today. It had been a hoot, bringing back mucho memories. I'm now preparing for "The Arrival" tomorrow morning.
stapfam, I have no control over that, but since my daughter doesn't want him in his sister's outgrown pink car seat... ;) I really like Ferne's name.

Welcome Josh. I'm very sorry to inform you that it will be some time until you are eligible post here on your own but until that day arrives I feel sure Gramps will be delighted to fill us in on what you're up to. The best advice you will ever get: triple chain rings can do everything.
Your friend,
Berner

Yes they can!
