Picked up this Celeste Green Bianchi road bike a few weeks ago for basically a couple hundred dollars.
I traded it for my 2001 Diamondback hybrid; I valued the bike at about $300 give or take.
I used it for daily driving around the city. The Bianchi isn't replacing its duties, so i'll have to pick up another daily driver.

This is the Bianchi as the seller had posted it

The brake lever hoods were to first get attention. Until i get new ones, I'll try to salvage these for the time being. Went at them heavy with toothpaste and a toothbrush to remove the grease and grime.
Then I replaced the bar tape that had served its purpose, with some Celeste green cork style tape.
The Selle Italia saddle and Bianchi seat post were in rough shape as well so i swapped over the Bontrager units off my Trek 1.5 ...for now. I think I eventually want to go brown leather bar tape and saddle. So i'm currently looking into Brooks saddles.
I put some elbow grease into the Original Celeste green paint with some rubbing compound. It came out pretty good, and then layed on some wax for good measure.
The front and rear reflective tape on the fork and rear downtubes were to get attention next.
Onto some pictures!!
Ofmega head set is original I'm told. Nicely upgraded Nitto stem and handlebar are not original
