hey guys, i did a search of the forum and couldnt find any answers so im here posting a thread bothering you guys.

ive seen pictures people rocking black non machined veeps/b43s with a front brake.
just wondering whats going on with that.
i want black veeps/b43s and a front brake but really dislike the look of the silver machined sidewall

Yeah, you can do that, as long as the rim isn't powdercoated. I think the black color is anodized, which is fine with brakes.

so i would be able to do this no problem? no squeeky squeeling, or aweful stopping power?
what about the pad not lining up with the rim wall parralel

Anyway...

B43s don't have a flat braking surface and aren't meant for use with brakes.

Same goes for H+Son Formation Face. If you're looking for deeper than 30mm + breaking surface, it's the H+S SL42.

Or the EighthInch Julian if you're on a little more of a budget.

There are also the Brev M wheels. No one ever talks about them, but are a very nice wheel.

Kinlin XR-300s are 30mm deep, with machined sidewall (meant for brakes.)
