Have a 1981 letour and suspect the front wheel is not correct for the bike,the large diameter hub has different shaped holes then the rear. where would i look to find a close up picture of the hub and then locate the correct wheel.
I dont know about the pic, but if you gather rear wheel is correct, you should probably look for the matching front hub/wheel. Look for manufactor stamps. In worst case (but not bad actually), you could always find a period correct eqiuvalent.

I'd venture a guess that the hub you're looking for is the common Schwinn Approved hub with the acorn shaped cutouts.
