Looking to ride out to the beach but I remember seeing the trail closed just south of Liberty Park. Is the road open again? If not, any news as to when it will be re-opened? Thanks!

it closes at del amo. you can just exit and cross the street and continue again. its not that bad.

yup been riding like that for the past month and just came back today nothing serious heading out tomorrow again to the beach

did you ride in the morning? i had to go to work on memorial day around 11am so i decided to go for a quick ride around 8am to seal beach and man was it packed. it was packed with cyclers. of course there were some sight seeing slow riders on beach cruisers and mountain bikes but a lot of cyclers. i managed to keep up with one group that had a good pace going. it was a fun quick ride.

Yeah, people on beach cruisers with headphones...bad combination on hills. Felt like a high speed game of dodgeball. Still, a good day to ride.
