What do you use for your bottom bracket?
I am using grease on my roadbike bottombracket and teflon on the track bike.
I was wonderng witch one is stronger, and better to maintain the bike?
I know that grease doesnt stop all BB sounds, And teflon silences alot better. But i was concerned about the life span of teflon.

At your height/inseam, I'd go with a 55cm.

In the shop on all bikes get Permatex Anti seize. Here in the NW it rains a lot and moisture in the BB can be a problem and will cause it to creak. On any sealed square taper, Octalink bb, or outboard bearing BB, we grease the cups to the bearings and the cups to the frame. And most people forget to grease the pedals before install or reinstalling old pedals. Steel axle on aluminum rms will creak as well.

Brakeless FTL you're putting other peoples' lives in danger.
Also I would go with a 40:16 ratio for commuting in that area.

Yeah, there's nothing wrong with a radial laced front wheel. Just don't do it on the rear.

Pie is better than cake.
For the doubters, anyone ever had turkey pot cake? I didn't think so.
Pie wins.

The EAI Gold Medal just isn't worth it. There are better ways to spend that much money.
Btw, nominating this for thread of the year.

+1 for roast beef sandwiches.
+1 for roast beef sandwiches.
+2 for roast beef sandwiches. Is Boars Head available in MA? Their roast beef is just awesome.
Btw... I bought some lithium grease at Walmart for a dollar that works quite nicely... dunno if it would taste too good on a sandwich though...

Boar's Head is teh suck -- in Boston, there are two Savenor's locations where they cook their own roast beef on site. Mmm.
Today I'm craving venison. Check my thread in the road forums if you're curious why...

Nah, man...I'm talking about fresh roast beef sandwiches. Here on the North Shore, there's practically a roast beef place on every block.
You could probably grease a whole bike with one of these things:

or, a local favorite here during fall when the county fair rolls in:
