I have the Hayes 6" Hydros and never experienced any squeal. They came stock on my bike and I already replaced a rotor/pad (long story on why) and never squealed (even when brand new). The only maintenance I do is wipe the rotor with alcohol a couple times a month.
And if they do squeal, I wouldn't know what to do. You can't toe-in pads on a disc setup (like on V-brakes). The only adjustment is side-to-side to ensure even clearance of the pad around the disk.
By the way, I've only used original Hayes rotors and pads. Perhaps the Hayes rotor and pads are "matched" for a squeal-less fit(?).

i think the squeling disc brake thread is a classic. I seem ot see it a lot, yes disc brakes squeal but it isnt 100% of the time. If they get really really wet they squeal, i have never expirienced it any other time. I hear that if they are dirty they may also but i keep my rotors generallly clean so i have not encountered this.
Ive got the Hayes GX disc brakes on my bike. They squeel a bit when dry. Get pretty loud when wet.

My hayes discs squeel quite a bit. Usually when dry but mostly when the pads are wet. Most of the squeeling comes fromt he front. I have the 6 inch rotors also.

I don't think he's speaking AOLese - I think it's more akin to L33T. But I got the gist of it; want a translation? :D

I honestly can not say that there is any way in which you can confuse my original post with another language. It is in English. It has a small amount of l33t in it, but mostly lacks punctuation. Heres a list of what MIGHT have confused you:
hey wozzup: Hello, how are you all
b4: Before
i: I
im: I'm or I am
2: To, two or too
V's: V-brakes
cant: Can't or can not
stuffed: Bothered
goin: Going
LBS: Local Bike Shop
"as much detail as u can": I would appreciate it very much if you were to include as much detail as possible in your posts
thanx:Thank you

There you go, and good on you to all who were able to "decipher" my message. ;) :D

Leave out the AOL'ese or Hax0r or |33t or what ever you call it. It is against the Guidelines set forth for this Forum.

they will squeal when wet. they will squeal or just slide/glide when greasy/oily. rubbing alcohol is best to clean the rotors. if your pads get really greasy throw them. otherwise it'll take an hour to sand them(emery cloth) and clean them with rubbing alcohol. there is a product called "disc doctor". DO NOT USE THIS! it is like putting grease or oil right back on the pads. they will slide horribly if not cleaned right after! PEACE!

Well technically speaking, the guidelines just ask that you try not to use it. There doesn't seem to be anything saying that you can't use it at all. Here's what I found from your link.
"Please do your best when it comes to grammar, punctuation and spelling. Consistent use of "AOL'ese" and "hAx0r" talk can be very disruptive."
At least 'da empire04' was kind enough to offer a translation for everyone. I for one appreciate the kind gesture.

No, what it says is
"Please do your best when it comes to grammar, punctuation and spelling." Note the period at the end denoting the end of the sentence and the idea expressed in that sentence.
It then says
Consistent use of "AOL'ese" and "hAx0r" talk can be very disruptive. Two seperate ideas.

But does it say that you can't use it at all?
In the...what was it that you called it? Ah yes, the second "idea" does not explicitly say that it bans the use of that language. It states that it can be 'disruptive", but not that it is forbidden.
