Hi,
I’m looking at selling my Co-Motion tandem. Are there websites which you folks would suggest I list my tandem on? I live in Portland OR and I’m probably not interested in shipping it as my first option (but would consider).
Thanks in advance for your suggestions,
-Scott
P.S. Tandem is wonderful, Co-motion makes a great bike, but it is just not an activity my girlfriend enjoys doing with me.

Sorry to hear.
I searched ebay and Craigslist when I was looking. There are one or two websites where you can list tandem bicycles, but, when I was looking, I didn't like the specific ones because the ads are from all over the country. I think everybody looking for anything checks ebay first, and then Craigslist.

Craigslist has worked perfectly for me each time I have used it. Spam is very easy to recognize. Local bike club E bulletin boards work too.

Craigslist, hands down. With SearchTempest you can search all Craigslist sites within a given mileage of your zipcode, making it even easier.
Personally, I don't use Ebay for something like a bicycle.

Searchtempest.com, view results in one list option, something like that. Put all your key words in the craigslist listing title.
Maybe list on Ebay, but somehow nudge to your free local listing?

Many tandems are sold on tandemmag.com. Specify not wanting to ship and offer to split driving worked for me.

I've had good luck with tandemmag.com. Craigslist can be good, too. The nice thing about the Tandemmag site is people are most likely serious about buying a tandem if they are looking there, so you get less "tire kickers" in my experience.
Shipping a tandem is much easier than you might think, so don't necessarily discount going that route if you need to.

Thanks to everyone for the good input. I'll start with Tandem magazine, then try Craig's list and finally give eBay a chance if the first two do not work out.

What are the specs on your tandem? Thanks
Put it on CL. I sold our Santana on CL and the guy came from about 4 hours away to get it. CL works well for selling outside your area long as you can keep the Nigerian Princes at bay.
