FINALLY!!
some good riding weather on Sunday-my day off.

I took full advantage of it by going on a great bike ride. The ride was about 52 miles my ratio was 46-18 and Im loving the new set up I have. I met some awesome people, got to hear some great music, and ate good food. Now to relax, click the pix to see more and let me know what you think.:thumb:

That's a sweet route! And I should know as I have ridden those routes. :thumb: I especially love riding lake chabot and the reservoir. Why didn't you go down doolittle and cut through the cement walled street that cuts through oakland airport instead? Doolittle's the perfect stretch for sprints, especailly the section that cuts through the san leandro marsh! :D

Yea I was hoping to hit Doolittle sometime in my route but I didn't carry any maps or a cell phone. I was just guided through using bike route and bay trail signs. But I'll do that next time and yea the San Leandro marsh is a lot of fun. Have you ever rode Redwood rd? or Palomares Canyon Rd? I think those are next on my to do list.

Yes I have on fixed and on my roadie, it's part of my weekend ride when I'm home in the bay. You should be careful through; cars tend to over steer into the side of the roads at turns so taking the entire lane is recommended at those parts.

If you haven't already, crow canyon rd should be on that list as well.

Cool, thanks for the advice il be on the look out. and crow canyon always has seemed pretty dangerous to me since the road is really narrow. It also looks really fun..

It is and my advice applies the most there, especially the twisty parts and the steeper parts where a fail costs dearly.
