I am currently repairing this bike for commute at my campus, as pretty much a beater. The logo sticker of the maker has been ripped off the front, All thats left is the name of the bike, City Bike 10 speed. It appears to be made in Taiwan from labeling of the rims. The gears and pedals are made by Shimano.
Cannot find this bike anywhere on the internet. Is it an off-brand market bike? Thought it might be a Bridgestone CB but doesn't look like the ones I've seen on the internet.
Here's a picture... vintage rust lol

So what do I have? Just bought some affordable kenda tires and plan to clean the bike chain. Overall I like the bike for commuting purposes, haven't used it enough so hope it can hold up.
Typical entry level boom bike. Lots of private label stuff out there.
Cottered crank, claw RD hanger, etc. Should hold up pretty well.
Looks very much like my Spalding ATB12.

Oh wow the bike is almost identical. Well this time i'm glad its just a typical of the mill bike. I can definitely not be too much depressed if it was stolen overnight at my campus. Still invested in a bulldog mini u lock though haha, I think i would be more depressed if my U Lock was damaged more then the theft of my bike. lets hope not :thumb:

I have ridden this little jewel over 1100 miles and it is a sweety. I bought it at the thrift shop for $10 and decided to
keep it for a fun bike, run to the store and to my folks. I have done several 50's on it with out problems. I think you
will like the bike when you start riding it.
Only down side is the gearing, no small ring, it is geared for speedway running. On a normal round town it is fine.
It has alloy wheels and Kenda slicks, came that way, all I did was clean it up.
Its quite a bit different than the Spaulding bike. Spaulding bike has desirable cantilever brakes, alloy rims, cotterless crank, different era.
