Is there any recommendation? I've been biking once every 2-3 days on average but now feel like biking pretty much every day. I figure mix it up: long flats, short flats (recoveries), flat sprints, hill climbs, mountain biking, then maybe one rest day a week.

depending on the intensity and length of your workout a rest day may not be necesary. alot of people who commute also ride on the weekend. it is mostly up to you. if you doa big group ride on Sunday I would say rest Fri. lots of guys I ued to ride with who raced always took friday off

Use how your body feels as a guide. I burn out easily and workout quite a bit. Thus, I crosstrain and take a couple rest days a week.
While I take a couple days of the bike it is very rare that I have any days that I am not working out during.
Today is a cycling rest day and I strength trained this morning.
