Looking for a good route from Battle Creek to GR...my wife will be on TT bike and although I don't mind crummy pavement and traffic, she does. No M-37. I typically bounce around backroads without a plan but I've ended up on dirt roads, terrible pavement, etc - and that won't fly with my wife. I haven't found a good route to date. Any ideas?

That's got a lot of time on M-37...I'm trying to avoid that road. Fast traffic, trucks, little if any shoulder at times. Although I didn't think to look at google maps and I found this one that starts down Banfield Road. Banfield is nice - I ride it regularly around a route I have near Fine Lake and Gull Lake.
