I recently acquired big collection of used bicycle parts from an acquaintance that was moving out of town.

Nothing high end or exciting, but everything was in good shape. It wasn't until I got home and really dug through that I found the Sturmey Archer hub. When I was first getting into bikes I read Sheldon Brown's site a lot. He was a big fan of Sturmey Archer and this find got me excited.

The hub says MADE IN ENGLAND 95-6. And appears to be in working condition with all the parts but I am not very familiar with internal gearing. So far I understand it is a coaster brake and it was made in 1995. What else can you all tell me about the quality of the hub? The value? I am not looking to sell it-just interested.

I know I read somewhere the the quality of Sturmey Archer really peaked in the 60's so I'm not sure about the quality of a 1990's hub.

I will post pictures if anyone is interested.
