Hi all,

I am looking to buy a cyclocross bike and have become a little confused as to what to get. It won't be used for competitions but for road (75%), Trail (20%) and off-road (5%)

I think I have narrowed it down to the

Specialized TriCross (http://www.tredz.co.uk/.Specialized-Tricross-2011_37664.htm)

or

Giant TCX 2 (http://www.tredz.co.uk/.Giant-TCX-2-2011_39466.htm)

Which one would you recommend or is there a better option I should be looking at ?

Thanks for the photo vote (I think :rolleyes:). Which version is that - base/sport/comp etc ?

I don't know. She rode it 4200 miles in 58 straight days without a day of rest. NY to LA.

The one that fits better. Ride both for a good 30 miles.

Thanks. The Uncle John bikes are a little out of my price range. So one vote for the Specialized. any views on the Giant in comparison ?

I am in the UK and I have a lovely Genesis Croix De Fer.

Genesis make great cyclocross bikes. I am sure they export out the UK but a lovely bike.

I'm in the UK so that is all good.

I think I am erring towards teh Giant as I may have found an older TCX 1 at a decent price
