Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

MMM only a week away and it looks like it'll be a sunny day this year! It was a blast last year and I'm sure it will be even better this year.

Who all is going to be riding?

Fred, do you have a .gpx of the course for Garmins?

I'm going with my Uncle. I've been training for it since March. He's only gone on one ride
I think I'll have a decent chance of finishing, hopefully in about 4 hours.
It'll also be the first bike event I've ever done.

With 1000 riders this year and an all new route I did not have time to get the Garmin downloads. I am hoping that riders will give me the links so that I can use them for next year.

You had a crazy fast time last year are you doing the 200K again?

we are having a huge beer tent with bands and 2 wheel technique will be performing Saturday. Are you hanging around after the ride/

Last year I did the 200k in 6:56 ride time, I'll probably be around afterwards.

I might take it easier this year though, I raced down at Mt Pleasant the next day last year and I could barely hang onto the pelaton on a flat race course. If I end up racing this year, I might take it a bit easier.

I rode up around Torch Lake yesterday and saw some route markers, The look really easy to see!

I can post my Garmin file afterwards for you also.
