On a more serious note, an EighthInch Scrambler V3 might suit your needs. Entry level pricing (for a bike that isn't a piece of crap) and it is built for tricks and would be fine for some light commuting.

because the only tricking i plan on doing is all on the back wheel like keo spins, riding backwards, bunny hops, bar spins, and all that. nothing big. and just use it for transportation.

Get the Kilo TT. The other bikes you mentioned are all very similair, but the Kilo TT pulls ahead in being an excellent entry level bike. Had the joy of putting a few together yesterday and really wished I would have bought one as opposed to a Windsor Hour, but alas I knew not of this forum then :(

There is no great bike for commuting and tricks. Sorry. But there isn't. Just like there isn't a great bike for commuting and riding trails...or commuting and road racing...or commuting and track racing.

Now, you can get a bike that is great for one activity and do the other on it. People do that all the time. Just understand that buying a bike that is "great for both" pretty much guaranties two things:
1) It will be mediocre, at best, at both things
2) It will not be great at anything

This is why people own multiple bikes.

Basically...

- Fixed gear bikes aren't really ideal for commuting.
- Fixed gear bikes aren't really ideal for tricks.

You can do these things on a fixed gear bike, but there are better tools for the job.

No. Don't get the kilo TT. Get the Eighthinch Scrambler or something if your want to do some tricks and commute to places.

Beat me to it...

Also I just ordered a large Pizza Hut pizza and got five free breadsticks! Can't wait to eat all of it.

Ohh, that makes perfect sense! thank you alot! ahha. but do you have any bikes to recommend as a first bike? i plan on doing minimal tricks like wheelies, keo spin, bar spin, and bunny hop at most. but mostly for commuting.

Honestly, in a perfect world. I'd suggest that you get a road bike or a commuter bike as a primary bike for commuting. Then get a used BMX bike and shred. But, I'm not sure what your budget is. And if the budget is $300...you won't get much of anything.

Don't listen to anyone saying "oh just use a BMX". This website just isn't really friendly when it comes to tricking and whatnot. But check out http://www.iminusd.bigcartel.com/or http://www.eighthinch.com/index.html . Or go to a freestyle fixed gear forum and ask there for better luck!

They're gonna say the same thing. You can't get a bike suitable for ANY kind of tricking for $300.

It's all suitable, just not ideal haha. You know if your in a budget anything works. This is how such great games as stick, rock, and boxousten were invented. All three great games. Ps3 and xbox 360 are better, but the other three still entertain on a budget.

You guys fail to notice that because the Kilo TT is so popular, they are mostly sold out.

To the OP, the only bikes on your list that are not soldout are the clockwork and the hour.

You won't get a good tricking bike anywhere near $300 but for a good first fixie would be a Kilo TT, have one personally and it's great.
