I have what I think is a 1983? Motobecane frame. It's marked 3109 on the underside of the bottom bracket and the cable holder down there is marked "Modele Vitus Depose"
Sad to say I bent the fork trying (unsuccessfully) to remove a frozen stem. I did manage to salvage the bars and brakes though. Also It has french parts looks like, the cog is a heliocomatic. Weeeee, first one of those for me.
Here's a picture. The frame is in pretty good condition. There's a line of rust under the bottom bracket but the rest of the frame is clean, just needs waxing. The head badge is of the square variety. How much is it worth?
