I was getting ready to leave a friend's house last night on my bike, and when I plugged my battery pack into my (two year old) NiteLight it flashed on then went dead.
Is the bulb on this thing dead? Is this a common occurance? Do I need to replace the bulb, or the whole enchilada?
Thanks.

probably just a bulb. Do you know anyone that has another system that you can check to see if your battery is still good? That's what I did when my bulb died!

I've never heard of NiteLight. Do you mean NiteRider?
Was the battery charged recently? Is it dead?
Could be filament failure in the bulb if it hasn't been used in 2 years.

If all you got was a flash I would first check the bulb. I have seen alotof bulbs burn out that way.

But if it is the bulb - where can I find a replacement?
