Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Early in the morning of October 9, 2010 nearly 100 riders gathered at Saddleback College, the start and finish of the Inaugural Orange County Ride for AIDS (OCRA).
The cyclists participated in either a 100-mile Century ride, or a 62.5 mile (100 kilometer) Metric Century ride. Riders of every level were represented and welcomed to participate to ride within their comfort levels. The century course took participants through Mission Viejo, Lake Forest, Irvine, Tustin, Laguna Beach and Laguna Niguel before returning to Saddleback College.

This historical event was successful on many levels. Riders pushed themselves to achieve success in fundraising as well as both physical and mental achievements of completion. AIDS Services Foundation received nearly $100,000 in donations from the event.

Plans are well underway for the second annual OCRA scheduled for Saturday, October 15, 2011. We are expecting over 200 riders and feature a new and exciting route, bigger and better pit-stops, and a VERY FUN festival after the ride with entertainment and some of Orange County’s hottest gourmet food trucks.
