All: I seem to have lost the ability to view this forum's posts as a simple plain text page. I've tried all of the settings that make sense to me but I must be missing something. I have a list of posts and when I click on one I then get the post title that I must click again to read the post and replies. I used to get the post and replies in text and then had to click "View complete" or something like that to get text with clickable links. How do I get plain text view back? I feel like a fool for having to ask but it seems to take forever with all of the clicking I now have to do. Thanks, dsbrantjr.

I don't think you specifically need a bike mechanic for that.

here's a shot in the dark. If you use Explorer there may be a generation or upgrade mismatch. Go the tools dropdown at the top, and to 'compatability view settings". Add the site name, and exit. Log off and log abck on and see if the voodoo worked.

I usually use Firefox and don't run into this nonsense, but some sites including my bank's inline system only work in Explorer and it's a fix I have to do often enough to suggest it to you without guaranty.

No. You need a lube. And we all know WD-40 is not a lubricant. I use a home brew for these applications. Let me go find the recipe so we can all argue the merits of the vaious ingredients.
