Clydesdales/Athenas (200+ lb / 91+ kg) - Well, hello everyone. . . . .

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Haven't been on here in a while. I took a job that had a 1hour and 20minute commute. Ugh! But now I'm back in town and don't have the long commute anymore. So I will be working back up to commuting to work. My step daughter has her bike all fixed up and is going to be commuting to the community college here. I haven't been riding much because I've spent all my time in the car!!:notamused: But I am raring to go. I'm so glad to see so many people I recognize still on the forum. Hi everyone:).
Just wanted to say "Howdy".

Welcome back!
I've only been off the bike for about two weeks and it's killing me. How did you cope? (I did sneak in a ride today).

Welcome back. I specifically just read your reply to the "Butt problems..." thread as I was scrolling through the threads on this Forum in reverse order, and noted I hadn't seen any posts from you in seemingly a couple years. I think we exchanged a PM or two back then.

Hello Jim, Yes, we have conversed in the past. Nice to hear from you.
I took a job in Taos--65 miles away and I have been commuting for longer than I like to think.:twitchy: But I got my old job back in Santa Fe so I am back on the bike and back on the forum. I have really missed riding but I was so darn tired from the commute that I didn't get much done but work. I went out riding last night and almost hit the back of a stopped car:eek:. So, where did I go first thing today? The LBS to get the brakes adjusted:rolleyes:. I love my old ratty bike:love:!!

Thanks for the reply. Are you cycle commuting now that you are closer to the job? That's my main cycling activity, and I do my Century training just by extending my commute.
